Our 2 day Flavourfest Local Market features street food, local produce, home cooking and baking, handmade crafts, food tasters, cooking demonstrations, community stalls, ice cream and activities and entertainment.
Any Calderdale-based food business is able to apply for a market stall, including market stall holders.
Priority will be given to businesses based in Park or Warley wards to showcase the area’s enterprising and distinctive nature.
Reduced rates available and further discounts for new traders making it the perfect opportunity for new or potential start-up businesses to get involved and try out a business idea.
Stallholders will be provided with either single or marquee type stalls and counter-top tables. Spaces are also available for catering vehicles and self-build gazebos.

The Inclusive Economy Enterprise Fund is to encourage new business start-ups including social enterprise in Park and east Warley.
Priority will be given to businesses based in Park or Warley wards to showcase the area’s enterprising and distinctive nature.

Grants are available up to £1000 towards start-up costs or development costs where greater numbers of employed local residents will result from the awarding of this funding.
Grants will also be considered up to £3000 for potential start-up businesses seeking to take premises within the project area who are able to demonstrate the desire to employ people within the project area.
